Classics Continuum

The Classics Continuum was held at the International House of New York on October 11, 2022. The event brought together high school students from around New York City who are passionate about Latin, Greek and the Classics. Together, we presented our work to a room full of international graduate students and scholars. Some of the presentations included:

  • Dead or Disguised? The Lasting Influence of Latin and Greek by Caroline Pantzer

  • The Founding of Athens, a short film by Jack Kramer

  • Athenian Democracy in the 21st Century by Caitlyn Tablada

  • Passing Inspection by Francesca Casciari

Kate Cooney of Cooney Classics presented a talk entitled The Goddess Complex, which explored the roots of longstanding archetypes, going back to immortal women in Greek mythology.
